Your details and safety
We'd rather launch late than launch unsafe. This page says what we do in plain words.
Adults only
You need to be 18 or over to use ODMERA. The app checks your date of birth once, the first time you say you're going to an event.
Counts before names
When you're invited, you see how many people are going. Names and details show once you've said you're going.
Who sees what
- Only the people running an event, like the host and the person handling money, see other guests' private details.
- There are no private messages between guests.
- You can delete your account in the app, under Me.
Children
Children's parties aren't in the app yet. When they come, children won't have accounts. A parent will look after their child's details.
Your data
- We don't sell your data, and there are no adverts inside your group's plans.
- Your details are stored in the UK, in London.
Security
We test the app by trying to break it, and we fix what we find. An independent security test comes before the phone apps. No app can promise to be completely safe, so we'll always be honest about what's covered.
