Accessibility

Last updated 3 November 2026.

We want everyone to be able to use ODMERA. We aim to meet the WCAG 2.2 AA standard.

This website

• Plain, short words.
• Text and background colours with strong contrast.
• You can zoom to 400% without losing anything.
• Everything works with a keyboard. A Skip to the main content link comes first.
• Pictures have text descriptions for screen readers.
• If your device is set to reduce motion, nothing moves.
• No time limits, pop-ups or adverts.

The web app

• Buttons are big enough to tap easily.
• It has a light and a dark look.
• It follows your device's reduce motion setting.

The app hasn't been checked against the standard yet. We'll do that before the phone apps launch.
